Day 1 – Arrive Zagreb

Begin your Croatia Tour as you arrive into Zagreb & get ready to experience the energy of Zagreb. Once you arrive at the airport, get transferred to your hotel by private transport. Spend the day relaxing. Overnight stay at the hotel. This is a small city and the main attractions are in walking distance.

Day 2 – Zagreb

Today after breakfast at hotel, day free. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Optional – Ljubljana and Lake Bled Tour with Pick up & drop from hotel and/or a walking tour of Zagreb.

Day 3 – Zagreb – Plitvice Lake (130 KM, 2 Hours) – Split (242 KM, 2.5 Hours)

After  breakfast at the hotel, prepare for the next leg of your Croatia Tour. Check out from your hotel to proceed forward from Zagreb to Split via Plitvice Lake – It is is one of the most beautiful and best preserved national parks in the country. This is why the entire lakes and surrounding area was declared as a national park in 1949 and is a UNESCO Natural Heritage Site. It’s known for a chain of 16 terraced lakes, joined by waterfalls, that extend into a limestone canyon. Transfer in a private vehicle with guide (including boat ride and tram). Check in to your hotel in Split. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 – Split

Today breakfast is ready and served at the hotel. After breakfast proceed for Split walking tour.

Travel back to the days of the Roman Empire on a 1.5-hour walking tour of Split. See all the sights of the Old City, such as the Palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, the octagonal Cathedral of St Domnius, Europe’s 3rd oldest synagogue, and more. Walking tour is perhaps the best way to explore the city, especially if it’s your first visit to the area. This walking tour covers the Diocletian’s Palace with the Historical Complex which forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. You’ll take a pleasant hour and half long walk through the city with a professional local guide and listen about the history and legends of this city that has become the center of Dalmatia. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Optional – Blue Cave & 5 Island tour from Split. Explore the islands of the Adriatic Sea on a full-day tour from Split.

The Blue Grotto or Blue Cave is a water-logged sea cave located in a small bay called Balun. The grotto is one of the best known natural beauty spots on the Adriatic and a popular show cave because of the glowing blue light that appears at certain times of day

Climb aboard a speedboat to visit the Blue Cave on Biševo island (tickets included). Arrive when the sunlight reflects through the sea floor and bathes the cave in aquamarine light.
Enjoy a short coffee break in the village of Komiža on Vis island. At around 12:00 PM, cruise to the southern side to swim in the unique bay of Stiniva. The next stop is on the island of Biševo, at Monk Seal cave, a cave where Mediterranean monk seal used to reside.
Stončica bay is your official swimming stop of the day. This is the only sandy beach among all other pebble beaches along our way so be sure to hop in an feel sand on your toes. Dry landing directly onto the beach, you’ll have more than enough time to cool off, sunbathe and snorkel in this unique bay. End on the island of Hvar and get a panoramic view of the Pakleni islands. Return to Split by speedboat. The city has vibrant evening life and the waterfront is beautiful to visit in the evenings. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 – Split – Dubrovnik (230 KM, 3 Hours)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out from your hotel to proceed in a private vehicle forward from Split to Dubrovnik – famously known as the Pearl of the Adriatic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dubrovnik is the climax of your Croatia Tour. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 – Dubrovnik

Today after breakfast proceed for 2 hour Game Of Thrones tour.

  • See where King Joffrey was faced with a citizens’ riot and pelted with dung
  • Visit the site where the Battle of Blackwater took place
  • Marvel at the seemingly endless walls of Lovrijenac Fortress

 Day 7 – Dubrovnik

Today after breakfast proceed for best of Montenegro tour. Montenegro is a Balkan country with rugged mountains, medieval villages and a narrow strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline. The Bay of Kotor, resembling a fjord, is dotted with coastal churches and fortified towns such as Kotor and Herceg Novi. Durmitor National Park, home to bears and wolves, encompasses limestone peaks, glacial lakes and 1,300m-deep Tara River Canyon.

  • Explore the coastal towns of Perast, Kotor and Budva
  • Cross the valleys of Dubrovacka and Konavle and discover the magnificent bay of Kotor
  • Ferry ride through Kotor Bay.

Day 8 – Dubrovnik – India

After breakfast at the hotel Check-out from the hotel and get transferred to the airport for your flight back to India or consider extending your Croatia Tour for a few more days. We will be happy to customize your extended Croatia Tour and include more places and neighbouring countries.
